Job Description
Job DescriptionThe Career Education Assessment & Data Analyst will work with the Office of Career Education (OCE) and partners across the Marshall University campus (e.g., provost office, institutional research, employers, campus faculty, staff, and administrators), and colleagues within the field of career education to lead assessment projects related to the needs of the campus and, when applicable, drawing upon state and national data. This position will lead efforts in developing and establishing various models, tools, and techniques to analyze the impact of career and professional development programming and interventions. This individual works independently toward carrying out departmental objectives using the knowledge and application of departmental and University policies and procedures. The Career Education Assessment & Data Analyst reports directly to the Director.
Salary Range $39,500-$51,400- Salary may be increased based off education, experience, and internal equity.

Required Qualifications
Education
Master’s degree
Experience
Minimum of one year of professional experience working with higher education, employment data, or assessment. May include full or part-time work.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Experience
Two to three years of experience working within higher education assessment and data.
Experience with Handshake, Smartsheets, PowerBI, and Qualtrics.
