ROLE SUMMARY

Digital Hosting Solutions (DHS) within EP&S is responsible for the development and delivery of the application-enabling infrastructures that underpin each and every Digital technology function within Pfizer, putting us in the unique position of servicing clients in every business line, in every location, around the globe.
DHS operates in an Agile, product-oriented model, with every outcome delivered via clearly established Product lines with support from engineering & development Practices. While work is often concentrated along these lines, increasingly, innovative Digital aspirations require the integration of multiple product components into a single solution outcome, which in turn demands tight orchestration across lines and practices and the rapid identification and mitigation of conflict.
The position is responsible for defining, tracking, and reporting on product delivery metrics, promoting teamwork across teams, leading the development and implementation of data-driven solutions with modern tools for actionable insights that align with business goals. This role requires a strategic, problem-solving, and technical approach, along with project management skills for identifying key impacts, optimizing, and improving data and analytics projects, and delivering high-quality dashboard solutions and insights for decision-making. The position will work directly for the Sr. Manager, Solution Delivery.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Solution Delivery Data & Analytics Manager must operate with the highest levels of integrity, as colleagues within DHS are often entrusted with the highest levels of access to development and production environments. The ability to protect confidential information, identify risks, mitigate non-compliance, and operate within defined policies & procedures is a must.
Develop Jira Standards:
Establish comprehensive standards for story tracking within Jira to streamline project management processes. Implement cross-backlog tracking mechanisms to ensure efficient coordination across multiple project backlogs.
Analytical Insights:
Conduct data analysis and interpretation to generate actionable insights, producing and presenting reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders, overseeing the documentation of business and technical requirements for reporting solutions, independently formulating strategic recommendations based on analytical findings, and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics.
Capacity Planning:
Partner with the EP&S Shared Service Analytics Team to design dashboards to visualize team capacity utilization and pinpointing resource bottlenecks.
Demand Forecasting:
Develop forecasting models to predict future project demands based on historical data and trends.
Chargeback Initiatives:
Create dashboards to track project costs and allocate expenses accurately across departments or clients and implement seamless integration between Jira and analytic tooling to enable real-time data synchronization. Create standard chargeback estimation templates for customers.
Collaboration and Training:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the developed solutions meet business needs. This includes managing the documentation of both business and technical requirements for reporting solutions.
Provide training and support to end-users on utilizing Jira and analytic tooling functionalities effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Jira and analytic tooling technologies.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement enhancements to improve overall efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with three years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree with eight years of relevant experience; OR Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience; OR 10 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
General knowledge of product management principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and strong business acumen.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to drive clarity in a complex environment and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in an agile work environment possessing qualities such as a collaborative mindset, adaptability to change, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience.
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R).
Experience in Programming (Python, HTML) is desired
Previous experience or certifications in project management (PMP, CSM) or Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Familiarity with public and private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
