Position Summary

Pfizer Center One (PC1) is part of Pfizer's Hospital Business Unit and are responsible for managing the product flow and sales order management of CMO activities at PGS sites to the end customer.

The PC1 Supply Chain Lead is a key part of the organization, supporting the PC1 business at the site and acting as the primary contact between the Pfizer Tuas Supply Chain department and the end customer supply chain representatives. This is a site-based role reporting to the Tuas Material Flow Leader.

What You Will Achieve

Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in planning, issuing and managing production schedules. Thanks to your planning skills, you’ll manage the material supply and demand to ensure a controlled flow of approved material and equipment based on the production and inventory requirements. Your coordination skills will help in interdepartmental planning activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic etc.

As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team.  Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing important deliverables on time. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will make it easy to manage difficult issues and help in establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time to meet agreed targets and develop plans for activities on own projects.
  • Prepare analysis of distributed supply requirements for cross-site discussion.
  • Manage and optimize the balance of raw material inventory required to support the production facility across the supply chain network.
  • Work with network stakeholders to resolve demand signal issues.
  • Work with MD team to define and set system parameters as required.
  • Serve as point-of-contact for brand- and site-related queries from above-site, share urgent issues with Site Planner and use cross-site call forum to flag demand signal issues.
  • Incorporate demand for new products changes into the plan.
  • Manage FG/DP/API inventory for assigned brands and monitor monthly levels.
  • Review alerts (exceeding threshold) and ensure system requirements up to date.
  • Review model system demand gaps caused by source change and product change leveraging system tools.
  • Collaborate with all other teams within the Supply Chain Hub and outside the hub to assure supply and improve efficiency of processes.
  • Coordinate with Shipping and Freight forwarders for all freight related matter and able to handle customer's complaint related with the shipments or logistic and coordinate with Warehouse and Forwarder for investigation and CAPA implementation.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • Production planning experience, preferably in pharmaceutical environment
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP) experience and knowledge
  • Experience with SAP (example: Bill of Materials Recipe, MRP, APO planning)
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to make decision with limited information
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite, especially Excel

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Working experience in Supply Chain related fields (planning, scheduling, procurement, logistics, customer service or demand management) with experience in planning role, preferably the pharmaceutical/ chemical industry
