Job Description
The UX Testing Lead will play a crucial role in driving user-centricity within Biopharma's services, systems, and products. Their primary responsibility will be to develop and execute effective research and testing strategies aimed at enhancing customer experiences across various digital and non-digital interfaces. This will involve conducting user testing activities and analyzing the results to identify areas for improving user experiences. The insights gained will then be translated into actionable recommendations. The UX Testing Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into the development process and create designs that prioritize user needs. Strong communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for success in this role. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX research and testing is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build and lead a scalable, efficient, and decision-driven conversion testing and experiment capability that enables Pfizer to utilize data and make optimal decisions to provide patients, caregivers and doctors with exceptional interactions with our digital products and services.
Develop and implement framework for conducting conversion testing and experiments, defining key metrics and success criteria, and establishing processes for data collection and analysis.
Plan and conduct a variety of qualitative and quantitative research studies, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, A/B testing, heat map analysis, focus groups, and others to gather data on user behavior, preferences, pain points and to validate design hypotheses.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and interpret research findings to provide actionable recommendations that can improve our product’s usability and functionality
Synthesize the data, identify patterns and trends, and draw meaningful insights that can inform design decisions and improve the usability and functionality of our products.
Leverage user personas, customer journey and touchpoint maps to provide insight into user-centered design decisions
Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
Develop and implement comprehensive user experience (UX) research strategies that align with Pfizer’s business goals and product roadmaps
Champion user-centered design principles that are inclusive and accessible and advocate for the user perspective throughout the product development lifecycle
Stay updated and incorporate industry practices, emerging trends, and new technologies into our UX research practices to continuously improve our research practices
Utilize and manage research tools and software to conduct and analyze studies effectively
Manage research budgets, timelines, and external research vendors as needed
Collaborate with our Digital site teams, brand teams, digital analytics, product teams, etc.
Create detailed reports and presentations to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree, plus 10+ years of experience
Must be proficient in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to derive meaningful insights about user behavior
Familiarity with various UX research methods such as surveys, interviews, usability testing, A/B testing and observational studies is essential. Proficiency in software tools used for these methods is required
Possess basic design skills to better collaborate with design teams and understand the design process
Be empathetic to users' needs and experiences and curious to understand the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’
Ability to clearly communicate research findings verbally, written and via data visualization to various stakeholders at all levels
Ease in recognizing patterns and identifying problems, and to think critically about potential solutions
Robust knowledge and expertise in information architecture, prototyping, and wireframing
Prior experience working with standard research and design tools such as UserZoom and Figma (for example)
Knowledge of user interface (UI) design principles
Experience working in agile development environments
Knowledge of UX design principles and practices
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools
Certification in UX or related field
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
