This is a remote position with 3 openings.

The Associate Budget Administrator coordinates and manages the update of billing and financial clinical trial documents for both industry sponsored, and non-industry sponsored clinical trials. The position includes the general development and ongoing refinement of administrative infrastructure for the management of financial activity associated with for-profit corporate sponsorship as well as non-industry submissions pertaining to clinical trials.

The position integrates diverse elements of clinical trial management and requires creativity, teamwork, and collegiality to develop and maintain sound fiscal and related administrative systems.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Review amended Sponsors’ study documents such as protocol amendments, protocol clarification letters, and amended study manuals to assess impact to OnCore Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) Study Calendars, coverage analysis and budgets.
  • Perform QA reviews of OnCore Study Calendars to resolve any findings.
  • Update study coverage analysis and/or budgets.
  • Liaise between external sponsors and COH departments to determine suitable coverage justifications and cost allocations for unique clinical trial procedures.
  • Work with Principal Investigators and study teams to obtain approval and finalize amended coverage analyses and clinical trial budgets/budgets estimates.
  • Renegotiate study budgets with external clinical trial Sponsors.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Principal Investigators, clinical research nurses, research site managers, clinical research coordinators, departmental business directors and other stakeholders in resolving coverage and budget development issues.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of related clinical trials administration and/or coordination experience working in research administration, a Contract Research Organization, pharma, biotech industry, medical or clinical practice arena, or health insurance industry.
  • Working knowledge of clinical trials operations.
  • Familiarity with HCPCS / CPT codes.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology specific to oncology clinical trials.
  • Relevant experience in clinical trials coverage analysis development and/or budget development
  • Experience with OnCore Clinical Trial Management System preferred.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $35.68 - $55.31 / hour
