City of Hope Orange County is redefining the boundaries of what’s possible in cancer research and treatment. We’re bringing access to our scientific expertise and highly specialized cancer care closer to home by building OC’s only specialty cancer hospital at our comprehensive cancer campus in Irvine, California. Once open in late 2025, it will deepen our treatment capabilities and seamlessly connect to City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer, our NCI-designated – and OC’s most advanced – cancer center. Surrounded by a regional network of care, the Irvine campus is a beacon of hope for the nation’s sixth largest county.
The new hospital is the capstone of our 11-acre City of Hope Orange County campus. Where other hospitals must serve the full spectrum of health conditions in our community, every team member at this specialty cancer hospital—from the nurses to nutritionists to physicians – will focus solely on oncology.
Join our rapidly expanding Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, aswe seek to hire a full-time Gastroenterologist at the Assistant Clinical Professor to Associate Clinical Professor level. Seeking mission-minded physicians who provide patient-centered care through clear communication and collaboration with members of the subspecialty teams. The Department of Medicine’s focus is toprovide leading-edge, evidence-based clinical care, emphasizing prevention and treatment of cancer and cancer-related complications.

Position Highlights:
· Clinical duties include Care and treatment of hematology and oncology patients
· Coverage at only one location
· New state-of-the-art 73-bed hospital, adjacent to Outpatient Center
· Inpatient consultation
· Outpatient clinic and endoscopic procedures
Position Benefits:
· Excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan
· Relocation assistance may be available
· Base Salary Range: $380,000 - $445,000 (Assistant Clinical to Associate Clinical Professor levels). The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications
· Early to mid-career candidates encouraged to apply
· Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical license in the State of California
· ABIM board certification in Gastroenterology
· Applicants must have an M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree from an accredited educational institution
