Middle School Science Teacher

What You'll Do

Teach five sections of middle school science with no more than three different course preparations
Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through interactive and inquiry-based learning
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and interdisciplinary connections
Serve as a trusted advisor to a group of middle school students
Engage in the life of the school—from faculty collaboration to student clubs and athletics
Inspire a love for learning in an inclusive, supportive environment
What You Bring

Mastery of developmentally appropriate teaching strategies to engage all learners
Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
A growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning
The ability to integrate technology meaningfully into the classroom
A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
Prior classroom teaching experience (Master's degree or advanced coursework preferred)
