This position works 20 hours per week
The Coordinator independently executes a broad range of operational, administrative, and support activities for Hope Village and offsite City of Hope patient housing locations. Specific tasks include booking reservations, assisting patients with check-ins and check-outs, billing, assisting with facility management, customer service, interfacing with financial assistance office, social work, case management, and nursing.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Deliver face-to-face and phone interactions with patients, families, and staff.
- Book reservations, invoice patients, check patients out, handle customer service questions, assist with facility management.
- Serve as point person for all patients and family residing in Hope Village and offsite hotels.
- Assist with Hope Village weekly reports and patient stay summaries.
- Have strong computer skills and deliver reports using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Serve as transportation logistics coordinator: oversee daily transportation needs of Hope Village and offsite hotel patients using both campus shuttle and contracted offsite transportation vendors.
- Have strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Your qualifications should include:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in a business office, preferably in a healthcare environment. A combination of an advanced educational degree and experience may substitute.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $24.40 - $33.44 / hour
