City of Hope Orange County is transforming cancer treatment by bringing world-class expertise and specialized care closer to home. Supported by a regional network of care, our 11-acre academic cancer campus in Irvine is home to City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, our outpatient cancer center, and Orange County’s only cancer specialty hospital, opening in late 2025.

With the opening of the hospital, the full continuum of advanced cancer care—from prevention through survivorship—will be available in Orange County for the first time, eliminating the need to travel for lifesaving treatment. Seamlessly connected to our outpatient cancer center, the new clinical research hospital will feature seventy-three inpatient beds, advanced surgical suites, groundbreaking clinical trials, and holistic services such as rehabilitative therapy and spiritual care. This is not standard cancer care. This is lifesaving cancer care. This is Hope.

Are you enthusiastic about providing expert, compassionate care to patients battling myeloma and lymphoma? As a Nurse Practitioner in Myeloma/Lymphoma at City of Hope you will play a crucial role in guiding patients through diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

In this role, you will collaborate with hematologists and oncologists to develop and manage innovative treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide vital education and support. From chemotherapy and immunotherapy to stem cell transplants, you will be at the forefront of life-saving care, helping patients navigate complex treatments with confidence and dignity.

As a successful candidate, you will:

Expertise in Hematologic Oncology – A strong understanding of myeloma, lymphoma, and their evolving treatment options, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and stem cell transplants.

Critical Thinking & Clinical Judgment – The ability to assess patients, interpret diagnostic tests, and adjust treatment plans quickly and effectively.

Compassionate Patient-Centered Care – Providing emotional support and clear education to help patients and families navigate complex diagnoses and treatments.

Strong Collaboration & Communication – Collaborating seamlessly with oncologists, hematologists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive, team-based patient care.

Commitment to Continuous Learning – Staying up to date on the latest research, clinical trials, and advancements in blood cancer treatments to provide innovative care.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Master’s degree, or Doctorate degree as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Three years of clinical experience
  • Current California RN license
  • Current California Nurse Practitioner license
  • Current California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing license.
  • DEA expected within 6 months of hire.
  • NPI certification
  • National Nurse Practitioner Board Certification thorough accrediting body
  • Specialty certification as defined/required for role.
  • Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
  • Current ACLS certification through American Heart Association

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $119000.00 - $213832.00 / hour
