Job Description
Summary
This Behavioral Analyst role will have expertise with children with neurodevelopmental disorders and autism. The candidate will have experience delivering ABA-based strategies for behavior management/skill development, someone who has experience with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including those with significant support needs, as well as developing and implementing intervention strategies according to research protocols.
Job Duties
- Assists in the development, coordination, and implementation of research protocols to ensure high-quality data acquisition.
- Implements behavioral intervention strategies to support participants—primarily children with neurodevelopmental disorders during research procedures.
- Collaborates with physicians, researchers, and clinical staff to ensure participant cooperation and protocol adherence.
- Accurately documents all participant interactions, procedures, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Ensures compliance with institutional policies and all applicable federal and state regulations governing research and patient confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA, IRB requirements).
- Monitors and meets documentation and study-related deadlines consistently.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all participant, research, and organizational information.
- Identifies and escalates concerns or protocol deviations to the appropriate supervisor.
- Participates in ongoing training, certifications, and professional development activities.
- Support departmental operations.
- Maintains up to date required human research trainings.
- Maintains required HIPAA trainings.
- Completes required annual hospital-wide and medical school wide annual trainings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, Education, or related field.
- Experience Required: No experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Certification in Texas.
